Introduction

These pages should interest everyone wanting to know more about aviation.

The whole web site has an educational dimension and if you are interested in learning more about General Aviation and its relevance to our daily lives you should scan the whole site.  You will learn more about ‘Your local aerodrome’, the environmental aspects of small aerodromes and planning procedures as they affect  the smaller aerodrome.

This ‘Education’ section of the GAAC Web Pages is of particular interest to school pupils.

The section for the younger pupils is introduced by a cut-away picture that explains about aircraft and how they operate.  There are some questions to test your knowledge.

The other section is a project aimed at Key Stages 3 and 4 and is called ‘Where can Wildlife Survive?’
